Ok. You know you're giving Vox Day money to have John C. Wright's blog on your kindle, right?
I am very fond of Vox Day, who is both charming and amusing.
I will give you that, to quote the musical 1776, "he is obnoxious and disliked" but I don't dislike people because they have unpopular opinions (on either side of the political divide.)
No, no he is not. Sarah (who's motto is "don't squander your talents") is charming. Vox (who's motto is "I'm Vox Day, blah blah blah. Do this, do that, blah blah blah. I think I'm so big, blah blah blah) is a malicious arrogant stalker with delusions of grandeur.

It does seem to amuse him to be obnoxious online. I am reminded of Harlan Ellison. They both seem amused to be as abrasive as they can.
And I do agree that Sarah is delightfully charming.
Er, no, I think he's abrasive because he genuinely believes that women and non-whites are inferior.
It is possible, though I have not seen this from any personal interaction with him. I find him to be very charming and gallant.
But, let's say for the moment that it is true. He is deceived into believing that certain classes or groups of people are not as good as others. What then is the right course of action?
Treating him badly won't change his mind. He would just see that as proof that his theory is correct.
In my experience, the few times I have dealt with people who thought badly of women, I have found that the best way to deal with them is to be as calm and kind and rational as possible…so as to disprove their mental stereotype. I have found this to work very well and the behavior or attitude I disliked has eventually vanished, though sometimes it took longer than other times.
I find, on the other hand, that when people are attacked for wrong beliefs they hold, they tend to associate themselves with them and cling to them more tightly.
So, either way, I don’t find people’s views a reason to treat them badly…no matter who they are or what they say.
So long as they are honest about their views. Dealing with someone who is dishonest is a totally different matter.
My solution would be to anathematize him. Don't buy his books, don't publish with Castalia House, et cedera.
I think that is a good thing to do, if that is what you feel led to do.
I am not going to try to talk you out of it, I have great respect for people putting their money behind their morals. ;-)
You have some really utterly beautiful photos of animals on your blog. Do you take them yourself?
