Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Book Tourney Today!
My novel, Prospero Regained, is in a book tournament today. Various books are being put up against other books to compete for Best Book of 2011.
Sadly, Prospero Regained is up against A Dance With Dragons by George R. R. Martin…so my chances of surviving Round One are nil. But if you would like to vote–either for my novel or for A Dance With Dragons–you can do so here:

Re: If he's become a lawyer, can he truly still be a hero?
If you use the line "Can you still be called a hero?" have him retort, "Well, in some locales, they prefer words like 'hoagie' and 'grinder' ..."
Just today. I suppose there is a chance that since I got the word out that if Martin doesn't, I could win.
I'm not sure that would be right though... (Big Martin fan, myself. On the other hand, at least I felt I could vote for my novel. Had I been up against Jim Butcher's Ghost Story, I would have felt I had to vote for him. ;-)

Hell hath no fury...
...like the cast of The Games of Thrones.
I mean, Jagi, you only have the entire human race as consigned to Hell and Miranda's family.
I went for the smaller cast and voted for your book. :>)
PS: Did you all get the word on The O'Floinn?
