Juss took all his Christmas money and allowance and bought two radio operated Beyblades, one for him and one for his brother.
He LOVED his.
He had it for less than a day, took it outside before I got up on Saturday morning, it got muddy and he…washed it.
Now it doesn't work.
I am heartbroken for him.

Don't give up on it. Try doing what we do at work for cellphones that fall in water. Put it in a tightly sealed container of DRY rice. I've done this after dropping my phone in water and after about 2 days had the phone back and working. Lasted me another two years. It's worth the try, you've got nothing to lose but some rice.

It is still sitting in the rice at the moment...the local store did not have the right sized batteries. So I have to make a trek out to Wal-Mart, which might have to wait until after the Boy Scout campout this week. But Juss reported, when we last dug it out of the rice, that it vibrated a bit. I'm hoping this means that new batteries will do the trick.
I'll be sure to report once we try that!
My three year old disassembled his Fisher-Price Batcave last night, and was heartbroken when I didn't have the stamina to either find the instruction sheet (which I'm pretty sure I saved) or figure out how the pieces go together on my own before bed-time. This too shall probably be mended, though.
