09:03 pm: Magic come to Life!

For years, I decribed the cover I would like to see for Prospero Lost: Miranda in her old-fashioned green dress and Mab in his trenchcoat and fedora with his trusty lead pipe walking down the streets of Chicago with a lightningbolt shaped like a unicorn in the background.

My amazing cover artist, Dan Lawlis, brought it to life!

Here is the cover for the new release of PROSPERO LOST!

That lightning is clever... and better yet, non-obvious... made me look twice, having only seen something odd from the corner of my eye at first.

The title text etc. will go up in the sky area, right?

YES!!!!!

That would have nailed it! I kept having to tell folks who I thought would enjoy the book, to ignore the cover (I can only imagine how disappointed those who took the cover as,a reasonable signal of what the book was like must have been)

Kudos to your illustrator! He's worthy of the name.

Exactly.

I have seen a review or two that was clearly from those folks, the ones who would have liked the story that went with that cover. Always makes me a bit sad.
