07:46 am: At Long Last…Prospero Regained!

The last of the Prospero novels, Prospero Regained, comes out today.

It has taken 19 years, and a tremendous amount of persistance and patience for this to happen, but now it has…the whole trilogy is available for everyone to read.

More importantly, though, today is the thirteenth birthday of eldest son, Orville Evander Wright. I have been a mom for 13 years, today. ;-)

Thanks! Finally got to see two of my kids get on a bus together this morning. When I was little and I thought about my future kids, that's what I imagined...them getting on the bus together. Took a long time to come true!

Pre-ordered back in March. Checked Amazon, and it says it's out for delivery. The nice UPS guy should be stopping by to drop it off sometime today :)

Congratulations on both counts, and happy birthday to Orville. Thirteen was a game changer (in a positive if misty-eyed way) for us.

I was amused when I got an email this morning from some online Disney game Orville's signed up for that he could now participate in teen activities on the website. I had forgotten he was now a teen. ;-)

if i could make a suggestion, you should take some time to make a wikipedia page about the series. i check out every book i read there before i read it, and i'm sure i'm not the only one.

You can't make a Wikipedia page about yourself or your works. Against the rules and stuff.

That's what I thought. It doesn't sound correct to me to do so anyway...I think it's the kind of thing someone else is suppose to do (even if I was allowed to.)

Hurray! And I feel lucky because I didn't discover the trilogy until this year, so I haven't had to wait very long. :)

Happy birthday to your man.

Hi, lurking fan here.

Fell in love with your work this past March when I read Prospero Lost for a book club I joined. I was excited about this book, because I was intrigued by the premise (I'm a Shakespeare nerd). I read it, read Prospero in Hell two weeks later, pre-ordered Prospero Regained from Amazon so I could get it the day it came out, and then blew through it this week.

I loved the whole series. Loooved it. And Prospero Regained was a great conclusion. Thank you soooo much for writing this story! They have brought me hours of enjoyment and characters I really love. I look forward to your future works!

My husband and I counted down the days until Prospero Regained was released and we had to buy two copies (one for each) because neither of us wanted to wait! These books are amazing and my favorites :) So glad that you have shared your imagination and the Prospero family with us. Trying to go through the last one slowly, just savoring it. What a talent you have! Thank you, thank you!

Hi!
I just finally finished Prospero Regained, stayed up till 4 am because I just couldn't put it down, and the last book was as amazing as the first book.
Thank you for writing such a unique and interesting story, with equally amazing characters!! (Mab and Mephisto are probably my favourites among them all)

It would be interesting to see what happens to the Prospero Family and to Miranda 500 years after the events of Prospero Regained. Would you consider writing another trilogy based on them or their descendants?
I'm specifically referring to what Hermes Tristmegistes said about the saviour of the elves, and who he was implying would be the saviour.

It was such an adventure reading your trilogy, so please keep up the amazing work and I look forward to reading your next novel! :D

Thank you so much! I am so glad you enjoyed it. Makes all the work worthwhile.

I don't have any plans to write another Prospero novel...though I do have a short story or two in mind...probably involving Mephisto, Erasmus, and Mab.

I did write a brief outline for what happens next...Miranda and Astreus's attempts to free the elves combined with a trip up Mt. Purgatory to reach the Eunoe River and try to get Mephisto his memory back...but I have so many other projects I am dying to get to, it is unlikely I will every do anything with it.

Though, I should add that, while Miranda will not appear again, the other Prosperos were stolen from the background of my latest novel. They may appear in that story, too...though they would be in their original form, before I adapted them to live on Earth...so they'd be similar characters, but not the same. I also my write another story in a very close background and one or two Prosperos may appear there.

As to the story of the redemption of the elves...hmm. I'll think about that. ;-)
