Yay! And it looks beautiful, too. :-)
Oh, bless you! Thanks!
I know, I know. We shouldn't judge the book by it. But still: gorgeous!
It does look neat. I think that's suppose to be the scene where she's fighting the King of Djinn. It's the only time Miranda picks up a sword. That smoke in the background is probably him.
Picked it up yesterday at B&N - sometimes they put the new releases out a day or two early. Haven't had a chance to crack it yet, but sure it'll be good as the first one and keep me engrossed.
That makes me feel so much better. I think I had this unspoken fear that it would sit there and no one would buy a single one.
Yes, the message from Amazon in my inbox today says that my pre-ordered copy has shipped! Hooray!
(I've been pre-orderd. tee. hee. -- I realize I've been told this before, but it just struck me. ;-)
As soon as the library gets their copy I will get to read it. I placed it on hold. Hopefully soon.
Hopefully soon also, I can actually get some money to actually buy it :)
Libraries are funny. Sometimes, they get them right away...sometimes a few months later. But thanks. The library's much more likely to buy my book if someone checks it out!
My local B & N has two copies. I stopped by and read the first three chapters. Good stuff. Can't wait to read the rest :)
Thanks. Hope the rest holds up! (Actually, I think the rest is better than the beginning...as the first few chapers were added on later, when I split the book...but what I like best may not be what a reader likes best.)
