OOOOOoooooohh!! Pretty! (plus, having a gorgeous gal with a sword on the cover of the book is ALWAYS a plus.)

Wish they'd given the sword a cruel-looking hilt and put her in an old fashion dress, but...hey.

I should add, it is kind of misleading as the main character only picks up a sword once in the whole series...she had to grab it with a huge gauntlet (to protect her, cause it's evil) and she weilds it awkwardly.

She does fight in other scenes, but she uses a razor-sharp fighting fan.

Vewwy nice tone

This cover's tone matches the dreamy quality of the first, with a "more out of sorrow, than anger" effect.

The subdued coloring implies grief, weariness, and loss.

Eagerly awaited.

Nifty! The picture makes me think of Norse Mythology, for some reason. If it weren't a cover for your book, the lady depicted could easily be Sif.

It's interesting the book listed under Amazons's "Customers who viewed this book also viewed" section. Alot of fantasy authors I've never heard of, new stuff, perhaps?

My thought exactly. Or rather I thought "Gee, she looks Scandinavian...and not in the least bit Italian."

(Miranda is a dark-haired Italian whose hair has been turned white by magic...not a blonde.)

As to the other books...maybe they are also new, because I recognize some of the author's names, but not the titles.

I think the cover to Prospero Lost is a little better, but this will do. :)

So when does this one come out??

Probably supposed to be the agony of some things that happen later in the book. ;-)

It's regrettable that the artist didn't stay with the image of Miranda as ethereal and delicate, but the reading public has learned to disregard most covers as having little to nothing to do with the actual story, which is exceedingly odd when one thinks about it. Still, a woman wielding a sword always catches my attention.

Will you do any touring with its release?

Probably not. Can't really leave the kids for one thing. I almost went on tour when the first one came out. It fell though. My editor promised to explain the whole thing one day, but has never had a chance, so I have no idea why. ;-)
