11:27 am: How cool!

Did any of you happen to watch the TV show, Jeopardy, last night?   The final question was, "Who wrote, 'Jesus of Nazareth was the most scientific man who ever trod the globe'"?

And - two of the three finalists knew the answer!

I must say, I am AMAZED that two contestants out of three knew the answer.

I would not expect that you would. The answer is Mary Baker Eddy, the founder of my church. Her works are not so well known nowadays, so I was surprised that two people would recognize an out of context quote like that.

Back in the day of Mark Twain, Mrs. Eddy was very well known. She was in the papers all the time. Val Kilmer is working on a film about the two of them (Twain and Eddy.)
